First Dirt has taken the underground hip hop community by storm. Their core member consists of Timothy Rhyme (Sacramento), 60 East (LA), Rymeezee (SF), Nay The Producer (Richmond), Leksbeat (Sacramento), & Phil The Pain (Boston). Just yesterday they were competing with other locals for any stage time they could get. In a few weeks, they are set to grace the stages with the best in the industry at the highly acclaimed and well-respect Paid Dues Music Festival in Southern CA. This group of musicians and businessmen/women have taken the phrase "from the ground up" and have become the epitome of it. With no major label support or investors, First Dirt has gained the respect and notoriety of their peers through hard work, great music with a great message, loyal support, and clever marketing. They have been paying dues for years and it is their time to shine. Today marks the release of their first mixtape together titled "The Dues Paid Mixtape" off of First Dirt's Classic Mixtape Series.
