Son of a long time musician. With a laid back persona, drifty beat selection, smooth delivery, melodic flow, and introspective lyrics, his self proclaimed “Get There” music creates a motivational soundtrack for young innovators and entrepreneurs that live to push the envelope, while still having a “Smoker-Friendly” free spirited vibe for the nonconformists of this generation. Because his sound is heavily inspired by West Coast hiphop, 90’s R&B, and Southern “TRAP” music, with influences such as 2Pac, Snoop Dogg,E-40, Lil Wayne,Ludacris, Nelly and 50 Cent to name a few, His versatility definitely comes as no surprise!
Joe Kidd has been writing, recording and producing original music since a very young age but since co-founding his company 2Xclusive in 2013 his main focus has been to perfect his craft, establish his brand, and present his gift to the world. He plans to do this by attempting to introduce a different perspective of Bay Area music, creative visuals, innovative promotional tools and all around quality work on a consistent basis, Starting with the release of his debut EP titled “The Vision” which is set to release Spring 2015.
This project will create a vision of the progress that’s taken place over the past few years within his own life and movement, while still adjusting to the drastic social and economic changes in the place he calls home. Looking to depict his journey through personal lyrics and scenic videos, This will definitely be something to hear AND see!
But thats all just the beginning. There’s no doubt that once he earns his wings, Not even the sky is the limit for this Kid!
